Do we need Interpreters?

Modern business can't exist without contacts with foreign partners and international traders. And there are no negotiations without interpreters. Interpreters are people who make the conversation between people possible. International projects, import and export, new technologies need to be spread in the world with thousands languages. The development of these spheres required the translation of millions of pages of text. The number of organizations that need their sites in English and in other languages increased. So it seems that the profession of interpreter has become more valuable and benefits of interpreters increased, but... The competition increases as well as the number of badly-qualified workers. Because of the lack of work, interpreters agree to work getting pour money. The result is that the level of translated texts has become bad, and translation of complicated, technical texts has become cheaper. To succeed in this sphere it is necessary to be an ace in this work, as there are a lot of people who have elementary knowledge of foreign languages.
Usually only big international companies have the department of interpreters in different languages the work of which is needed every day. Small companies turn to translation offices that will make any translation on any topic.
One of peculiarities of this work is unstable work. Another peculiarity is that money you earn varies on the languages with which you work. Translation from English into your mother language will be cheaper than translation from Japanese or Chinese into your mother tongue. It may be explained by the competition. English language is one of the most spread in the world that is why it is very easy to find the interpreter who knows it. But Japanese and Chinese are rarely learned as foreign languages. If the translation is urgent, then clients also pay more.
This work is creative and mechanical at the same time. On one hand you have to choose the necessary word combination to explain the certain phenomena and on another hand you have to look technical terms in the vocabulary. And impatient people won't succeed in this work.
This work is very interesting because it requires communication. Interpreting you'll communicate with foreigners and sometimes even with celebrities. Sometimes interpreters have to entertain clients when they are waiting for something as usually interpreter is the only person who understands the foreigner. And every experienced interpreter knows that if something happened the client turns to him/her for help.
And of course thanks to translators we have the possibility to read famous books of foreign writers in out mother tongue.
